Details:  Sylar was in love with the Kuroshitsuji series early on. An all time fan of the seiyuu Jun Fukuyama, his admiration for Grell soon came to fruition. When Sheila & Kissu Cafe's decided to put on a Kuroshitsuji Cafe for Connichiwa 2011, he jumped at the chance and became the resident Grell Sutcliff. 

This costume was ordered online. Most of the soft work came with it. The jacket, vest, shirt, gloves and ribbon all came with the order.  The glasses were purchased separately, and the hip chain was made of two necklaces restrung together. The boots were bought black, and Sheila painted on the red designs with fabric paint.   The wig was completely cut and styled by Sheila. 

The chainsaw Sylar featured at Anime Expo 2011 was made by Sheila. The base of it was a box painted black. Craft foam was added to the sides to add dimension, gold and black paper to add the details.  wooden handles were made around the box as was a foam core silver lever. The blade was made from foam core sprayed silver, and a actual bike chain was used for the teeth. The Sebastian doll featured in the photoshoot was hand stitched and made by Sheila. 

Finally, the teeth. Sylar's grell teeth are shaved down acrylic nails that were then glued onto an Invisalign retainer, that he had from his time wearing invisible braces. We were very lucky he had suffered through all the sets of invisible braces, because now we have many clear molds of his teeth to make sharp fangs.
