Details: This costume was actually a happy coincidence! 

Sheila had studied Kendo in the year she lived in Japan and her team provided her with a Kendo uniform when she said her goodbyes. Later on we realized that the uniform almost exactly matched Nozomu's!  Sheila an avid reader on the manga, insisted on Sylar cosplaying him.
