Character: Tahno of the White Falls Wolfbats

Details: As huge Avatar The Last Airbender fans, Sylar and Sheila were extremely excited for the announce Legend of Korra. And as cosplayers, they were even more eager. Originally, Sylar was planning on being Mako since he was the canon love interest to Sheila's Korra. But the minute Tahno strode toward Korra we both fell in love with them as a crack pairing. And Sylar and Tahno were a cosplay match made in heaven. 

Tahno's jacket is the main part of the cosplay and made from a pattern. Specifically NewLook's 6006 'D' Some altering was done, the adding of raised flaring cuffs, and making the collar larger to stand straight. It also wraps over itself and velcro's closed as opposed to a frontal zipper. The black panels we included in the front pieces of the pattern. The gold lining and cording was added after. And a black waist belt completed the top look. Sylar also wore a simple mandarin collar button up, black pants and riding boots (with craft foam toe tips) to match.  

Tahno's fabulous hair was recreated with a clip in wavy black hair extension, with Sylar's long bangs woven into the curls.
